We get it—no one’s dying to talk about colon cancer. It’s not glamorous. It’s not easy. And for most people, it’s not exactly dinner conversation.

But what if talking about it could save a life?

That’s the driving force behind a bold, hilarious, and intentionally outrageous campaign designed to shine a spotlight on something deadly serious: colon cancer screening.

💡 A Free Screening, A Funny Video, and a Doctor on a Mission

On March 19th, a FREE Colon Cancer Screening event is taking place in Chicago. And it’s more than just a check-up—it’s a community-wide effort led by Dr. Andrew Albert, one of Chicago’s most passionate voices for colon cancer awareness.

Dr. Albert has made it his mission to get people screened early and remove the stigma around talking about it. This time, he’s teamed up with comedian Brett Walkow and the team at HappyTown Fundraisers to create something totally different.

🎬 When a Talking Colon Gets More Views Than a Medical Brochure

Instead of facts and fear, they delivered… comedy.Think: over-the-top sketches, awkward situations, and a few moments that are downright ridiculous. (Spoiler: the colon talks.)

But the comedy isn’t there for laughs alone. It’s there to make you stop scrolling, click, and listen—because colon cancer is preventable, and screening can save lives.

This isn’t just about raising awareness. It’s about getting people to act.

📲 Share. Laugh. Save a Life.

That’s where you come in.

Here’s how you can help right now:

  • Watch the videos

  • 🔁 Share them on social media

  • 📢 Tag a friend who keeps putting off their checkup

  • 🔗 Visit www.BackOffColonCancer.org for all the event details

Every like, every post, every funny reaction could be the reason someone gets screened in time.

🧠 Why Humor Works

At HappyTown Fundraisers, we believe laughter has the power to move people—to open them up to ideas, to information, and yes… even to screenings.

Led by Brett Walkow, a nationally recognized comedian, emcee, and filmmaker, our team specializes in creating content and events that fuse entertainment with impact. This project is proof: when you mix purpose with play, people pay attention.

And with Dr. Andrew Albert’s expertise at the helm, we’re not just being funny—we’re being effective.

🩺 It All Leads to March 19th
